ReleaSys™ 7200 | Wax Release Agent
High Performance Synthetic Wax, 100% Paintable Release, Superior Release Ease and Surface Quality
ReleaSys™ 7200 Wax Release Agent is Miller-Stephenson most advanced wax-based release agent, utilizing our specialized synthetic wax polymers and proprietary slip additives, this liquid wax applies with the easy of a solvent-based coating but cures to an incredibly durable, robust release coating on mold surfaces. This coating is able to outperform other more expensive release chemistries such as fluoropolymer and silicone based systems. Thanks to our years of development and refinement, this wax release agent provides robust release and anti-blocking properties across a broad range of mold configurations, mold substrates and geometries. Moreover, our synthetic wax has been organo-modified, meaning that is transfer does occur, it will not effect your post-molding painting, bonding or adhering. Benefits of this product include:
- Synthetic Wax-based Release Coating
- Superior Application ease; no buffing required
- Unmatched release and surface quality
- Non-fluoropolymer, Non-silicone, non-oil
- Fast-Drying, Very low odor
- No effect on paintability, bonding, or adhesion
- Multiple Releases from a single application
ReleaSys™ 7200 is a high-performance wax release agent designed to provide exceptional release ease, cost-efficiency, and maximal throughput. Utilization of a proprietary non-silicone, non-fluoropolymer, resin and wax system, our unique chemistry accelerates the drying and cure process allowing rapid reapplication intervals. ReleaSys™ 7200 was specifically designed for molding operations which require efficient and fast production speeds with minimal downtime. Our product has excellent application in fiberglass molding as well as other composites, polyurethane and epoxy molding. It provides the benefits of a typical hard wax, without the required application of numerous coats or harsh buffing
ReleaSys 7200 Wax Release Agent – Benefits of a hard wax with the ease of application of liquid coating – a potent combination!
ReleaSys 7200 combines the robust barrier and release ease of traditional hard waxes that require the application of 6-10 coats followed by buffing with the ease of a sprayable release coating. Further, our release systems requires only a single coat! This is made possible by the use of highly specializes wax polymers and slip additives, achieve excellent release film strength and durability in a ultra-thin film coating. This makes the coating application in high through polyurethane molding operations as well as epoxy potting and encapsulations process. The ReleaSys 7200 pairs extremely well with our ReleaSys 8100 or ShieldSys™ MX120
