ReleaSys™ TM1 Tire Release Agent is a high performance, crosslinking release system designed for Tire and Bladder Manufacturers. A highly advanced polymeric resin, ensures the coating bind tenaciously to surface. The result is increased ease of use, durability, and lower usage levels. ReleaSys™ TM1 promotes highly efficient bladder release, providing better air evacuation, smoother slip for improved bladder centering and durable release performance. ReleaSys TM1 Tire Release Agent also helps eliminate the start-up difficulties often associated with new bladders, and reduces defect and scrap. Application can be to the green tire or directly to the bladder.

ReleaSys TM1: Surface Protection, Optimized Slip, Faster Start-ups
Miller-Stephenson tire release agent coatings protect the surface of the bladder against chemical and mechanical attack. Protecting the bladder against the high level of abrasion significantly improves bladder service life and reliability. ReleaSys TM1 tire curing bladder coatings also act as a barrier to help slow down the ingress of sulfur and other compounding ingredients in the bladder surface. Providing a barrier to the ingress of these materials helps to further increase bladder life by reducing bladder cracks in the vent lines. Customers report significant increases in bladder life after move to ReleaSys TM1. Increases up to 45% have been seen. An additional benefit provided by the TM1 is reduced start up issues often associated with new bladders. Our tire curing bladder release agents provide protection to the curing bladders throughout their service life and they will help enhance slip to improve tire uniformity and reduce defects.

Recommended Application Procedure:
- The application surface should be clean and contaminate free. Ideal application is it to a warmed surface to accelerate the dry and curing time.
- ReleaSys™ TM1 can be applied by wiping, brushing or spray equipment that can produce fine atomization and deposit a uniform, thin film.
Note: New bladders should be treated with 2 coats with a full cure between each coat. Uniform, even application is critical.
- Cure Method: Cure times vary with application thickness and temperature. The curing process is dramatically accelerated with the application of any heating above 50 °C. Cure times above 50 °C require approximately 20-30 minutes. Temperatures below 50°C are non-ideal.
- When the product is applied to a green tire, transfer will occur, applying a coating to the bladder surface.
