MS-122ADL Dry Lubricants | Release Agent
Ultra-low coefficient of friction, supreme lubricity, and low GWP
Miller-Stephenson’s MS-122ADL Dry Lubricants / Release Agent uses a fluoropolymer chemistry to create a proprietary white, waxy particles dispersion of PTFE. This dry lubricant can be applied with the convenience and safety of it being non-flammable, low global warming potential (GWP), No ozone depleting chemicals (ODC), all within an aerosol package. Additionally, the MS-122ADL dry lubricant meets the environmental restricts of both Europe and Canada. The outstanding lubricity and low coefficient of friction of PTFE is perfect for use as a dry film lubricant and as a release agent in molding operations. Benefits include:
- Exclusive PTFE Dispersion (< 3 µm particle size)
- Combats fouling and minimizes build-up
- Compatible with all substrates and does not swell/degrade elastomers
- Meets environmental restrictions of Europe and Canada
- 100% chemically inert, VOC-exempt, and non-flammable formulation
As a Dry Lubricants
The MS-122ADL is a PTFE based dry lubricant that is excellent for all applications. The formulation of this dry lubricant allows for it to be used on all surfaces, providing a very uniform coating, especially where there is metal to metal contact. Coupled with the safety and environmentally friendly characteristic such as Low GWP (global warming potential), No ODC (ozone depleting chemicals), and nonflammable propellant, makes the MS-122ADL and great choice for your production process.
As a Release Agent
MS-122ADL is an excellent universal release agent, highly effective when applied to rubber molds. Providing a very uniform coating, the MS-122ADL can be used on a wide variety of materials with virtually no transfer of the release agent. By heat fusing our MS-122ADL, you can significantly can help increase the durability and cost-effectiveness of your molding applications.
Why choose MS-122ADL | Dry Lubricants / Release Agent
Production engineers looking for lightweight, faster drying lubricants, or non-silicone-based release agents will find a great alternative with the PTFE formulated MS-122ADL dry lubricants/release agent. Engineers will find that they can use the MS-122ADL across a broad range of substrates, with added benefits of this product being chemically inert, non-transferable, rapid drying, self-leveling, and all with the assurances of the low global warning characteristics. Additionally, PTFE, on a release per application basis is significantly more efficient and cost-effective than sacrificial or PVA alternatives.
Variations of the MS-122 Series will deliver higher productivity, lower rejection rates, and higher quality products.
