Sodium Nitrite Free, Anti-Corrosion Additive Lubricant

Krytox AUT 2E45 grease offers the potential for lubed-for-life properties in demanding electrical motor service. Krytox greases are non-oxidizing, water-resistant, nonflammable, and chemically inert. AUT 2E45 greases contain perfluoropolyether (PFPE) oil and a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) thickener. The PFPE oil and PTFE thickener will not oxidize and gum up like ordinary synthetic or hydrocarbon-based greases. Krytox greases are recommended by many major bearing manufacturers for long-life lubrication in severe applications. The superior film-forming capability of Krytox greases provide a thicker oil layer and reduce wear. Krytox greases are compatible with metals and most seal materials, but require removal of all old lubricants from the motor bearings before application. Why Krytox AUT 2E45 Grease?

Krytox™ products are fully synthetic, not petroleum- based and totally inert, so Krytox™ oils and greases do not react with anything in the environment. Unlike other lubricants, at temperatures under 350 ºC (662 °F), Krytox™ oil does not oxidize or break down into other substances that could be harmful.
