TriboSys™ KSL Keyboard Spray Lubricant is an ultra-high performance specialty lubricant that provides unmatched lubricity, smoothness, and pinpoint application in an aerosol format. Utilizing Krytox™ GPL 105 and our proprietary plastic and rubber safe carrier fluid, TriboSys 105 was specifically manufactured for mechanical keyboard applicators looking to increase the application uniformity and reduce wasteful over lubrication. The high penetration formulation allows complete coverage of all springs and switches to improve or eliminate undesirable tactile properties such as actuation time, recoil, and spring jitter immediately. Acoustic properties are also improved such as the elimination of scratching sounds while conserving the natural sound effects from mechanical keyboard switches. TriboSys KSL generates ultra-thin films of lubricant that is simply not achievable when utilizing straight GPL 105 and a brush or dropper bottle.

Lubricating tactile, linear, and silent switches as well as springs with TriboSys KSL facilitates smoother and more responsive switch inputs while significantly decreasing keyboard noise and friction. Application of a small amount of lubricant eliminates the need to buy used and already broken-in keyboards with an indeterminate lifecycle left. Users of TriboSys KSL further benefit from the elimination of the “break-in period” typically seen with new keyboards. Keyboards lubricated properly with TriboSys KSL keyboard spray lubricant immediately start functioning at its optimal tactile and response performance. TriboSys KSL also increases the lifespan of a keyboard by protecting the internal components of the keyboard from high friction mechanical wear and premature failure. The keyboard spray lubricant has unmatched low surface energy and vapor pressure, which allows the lubricant to stay in place and not migrate out of the area it is applied to even with the mechanical motion that happens with every actuation. TriboSys KSL is also compatible with all other TriboSys and Krytox lubricants that may be used in conjunction with the spray lubricant. Manufacturing Key Caps, Key Switches, or Other Keyboard Parts?
Part of the reason key switches need to be lubricated is due to imperfections during the molding process, which can be significantly reduced by applying an ultra-thin film of ReleaSys 78 (aerosol) or ReleaSys 7800 (bulk liquid) during the molding process. ReleaSys 78 or 7800 will lower the rejection rate, increase the number of parts per coating, and eliminate the post-cleaning process by producing bondable and paintable parts. TriboSys™ 3203: TriboSys 3203 is the least viscous grade 0 grease. Due to its relatively low oil viscosity, it is the easiest to work with and is the ideal lubricant for tactile and click switches.
TriboSys™ 3204: TriboSys 3204 is the perfect general grade 0 lubricant for mechanical keyboard switches. Due to its medium viscosity, it is used for both tactile and linear switches. TriboSys 3204 is recommended for novice users that may not be familiar with how to lubricate a linear switch since it is easier to work with than GPL 205 grade 0. .
Krytox™ GPL 205 Grade 0: GPL 205 Grade 0 is the thickest mechanical keyboard lube that is widely used within the mechanical keyboard industry. Highly recommended for linear switches due to the oil viscosity in this grade 0 lubricant.
