ReleaSys™ DFX-L Dry Lubricant is Miller-Stephenson’s most advanced and sophisticated PTFE DryFilm coating provide superior lubrication, wear resistance, friction reduction and long-term corrosion protection. Our next-generation PTFE coating system is 100% compatible will all surfaces and will not swell or degrade wood, plastics, rubbers, metallics or glass. ReleaSys DFX-L Dry Lubricant is best utilized when high lubricity, surface cleanliness, and non-oil based lubrication is needed. ReleaSys DFX-L does not attract dust or dirt and will repel oil and moisture from surfaces treated with its coating. Ultra-fast dry times, zero-VOC, and ultra-low odor make this product the ideal selection for both small and large applications. Thanks to our robust and proprietary PTFE coating the potential applications are numerous ranging from conveyor belts, rollers, and springs to cables, blade tips, and gears. Sliding friction and wear are reduced dramatically allowing for longer component life and long-term smooth operation with “slip-stick” issues. Properly applied, our coating applied a PTFE film which is less than 0.1 micron in thickness and offers coefficient of friction value as low as 0.05 – 0.10.

Combining next-generation PTFE thin-film resins into a zero VOC, ultra-low odor aerosol package was no easy task. What resulted was a dramatic leap forward in dry lubricant technology. The DFX-L is safe for application onto any surface and will not tarnish, degrade, or swell even the most sensitive substrates. The deposit film will provide long-term water, moisture, oil, and chemical resistance to surfaces along with significant reductions in wear and corrosion. The ReleaSys DFX-L Dry lubricant is 100% non-flammable, VOC-exempt formulation with the added benefit of rapid dry times and air-cure film development The rapid drying carrier fluids and air-curing fluoropolymer coating, yields a ready to use lubricating film in less than 15-30 seconds. Compared to lesser coatings which may provide fast dry times but poor coating durability or slow-drying coatings which require a heat-cure, the ReleaSys DFX-L compromises in neither of these scenarios.
