    MS-114D, Miller-Stephenson’s stripping agent is specifically formulated to remove Miller-Stephenson’s MS conformal coatings.  MS-114D Conformal Coating Stripper will dissolve all Silicone Coatings, Urethane Coatings, Acrylic Coatings, and Varnish Coatings from many types of electronic circuitry. MS-114D safely dissolves these coatings without causing damage to most electronic components and elastomers.     Recommended standard safety precautions to be observed when using Conformal Coating Stripper | MS-114D:

    • Use only in well-ventilated areas.
    • Protective gloves and goggles should be worn.
    • In case of prolonged skin contact, wash with water.
    • In case of eye contact, flush with water followed by a diluted boric solution and contact physician.
    • Avoid prolonged breathing of vapors.
    • Unused portions of the stripping agent must be disposed of in compliance with applicable environmental regulations.

    To remove silicone, acrylic, urethane and varnish coatings:

    Soak for about thirty minutes or more, then rinse thoroughly with alcohol.  For urethane and varnish coatings it may be necessary to soak for several hours before the soakings will break up or dissolve.
