EPONEX 1510 | Epoxy Resin
Unique Low Viscosity Epoxy Resins, Improved Performance With Low Viscosity Resin’s
EPONEX™ Resins are unique low viscosity epoxy resins designed to have improved performance compared to conventional bisphenol-A (BPA) type resins, when formulated properly. EPONEX 1510 is recommended as a building block resin for preparations of: 1) low viscosity/higher molecular weight epoxide resins (e.g. by reaction with bisphenol-A) and 2) low viscosity esters using conventional esterification reactants. It can also be used as a reactive viscosity reducer and a modifier for improved color in BPA-based epoxy resins.
Application Areas/Suggested Uses
- Ambient cure and bake coatings
- Light color, high build decorative coatings
- Modifier for color and viscosity
- Building block for epoxide resins
Benefits
- Low viscosity
